How many units taken through OU apply toward my bachelor/master's degree?

A. A maximum of 24 semester units of Open University baccalaureate-level credit may be applied toward bachelor’s degree requirements at San José State University.

B. For a 30-unit master’s degree, you may not apply more than six units of Open University credit or credit transferred from another university – in any approved combination.

C. However, each department decides whether a particular course will be accepted toward a major or minor. Further information may be obtained from the SJSU Catalog available at the Spartan Bookstore on campus.
